Visually check overall condition of the house.
Visually check ceilings, walls, windows, doors and flooring for damage (mold, mildew, cracks, water leaks, etc.).
Visually check for signs of pest intrusion.
Check doors and windows to make sure they are locked.
Run all faucets – both hot and cold water.
Flush all toilets – wait until the run is complete.
Check refrigerators and freezers.
Check air conditioning thermostat.
Check room humidifier settings (if applicable).
Lock doors and reset security system upon departure.
